ABOUT KYM

I’m a Wellness Strategist and Speaker focused on replacing short-term motivation with sustainable systems that create real results.

My work lives at the intersection of wellness, leadership, and community impact — helping organizations, schools, and leaders move from intensity to structure.

I believe in leaving you better than I met you. That’s not a slogan. It’s a standard.

My work is about helping people move from intention to structure — because real change isn’t built on motivation, it’s built on systems.

PRACTITIONER POSITIONING

I Practice What I Teach

As a strength and conditioning coach, I live the systems I teach.

Discipline.

Recovery.

Execution.

Consistency.

I don’t teach theory I don’t implement.

Results create momentum. Structure builds confidence. Wellness, when built properly, becomes a leadership advantage.

FOUNDER & INSTITUTIONAL IMPACT

Founder, SelfLove Youth Wellness & Empowerment.

I co-founded SelfLove Youth Wellness & Empowerment to build programs that meet young people where they are — not where we expect them to be.

Our work is designed to elevate, not correct. To build structure, not shame. To develop confidence, identity, and long-term growth in underserved and marginalized communities.

As an educational partner of the Toronto District School Board, I’ve led the design and implementation of structured programming embedded directly within school communities — equipping students with practical tools for clarity, accountability, and leadership development.

That responsibility extends beyond workshops. It shows up in the systems I build — from developing the Make UR Mark conference with George Brown College to create measurable exposure and future pathways for marginalized youth, to institutionalizing representation through Ontario’s first Black Pioneer Wall at Western Collegiate Institute.

Both initiatives are designed to ensure young people see possibility reflected back to them — not as inspiration, but as structure.

Let’s work together!

If you’re ready to move beyond motivation and build something that lasts, let’s talk.
